    蛇鲻。亦称“丁鱼”。鱼纲，狗母鱼科。体圆筒形，长达40馀厘米，淡褐色。头长，稍扁平。口斜而大，牙多而细尖，背鳍位于身体中部，脂鳍一个。近海底层鱼类，洄游不显着。肉食性，主食鱼、虾。为我国南方重要经济鱼类。
