    又稱莊荷，是指在賭場內負責發牌、殺賠（收回客人輸掉籌碼）（賠彩）的一種職業。為什麼叫荷官呢？荷官在賭場裡緊盯着客人的錢包（粵語中稱錢包為荷包），故名「荷官」。
