    當時番禺人宴請廣州親戚，廣州親戚有一個很節儉的傳統，就是很多人喜歡把宴席的剩菜打包回老城區。久而久之，番禺人就流傳開這麼一句歇後語：廣州親戚，又食又嚦扐。（「扐」的意思是「拿」，意思就是宴請廣州的親戚，他們不但堂吃，還會打包回家）
